Jacob and Esau were twin brothers, the sons of Isaac and Rebekah. Esau was a skillful hunter who loved the outdoors, while Jacob was quiet and preferred to stay at home. One day, when Esau came home from a hunt, he was exhausted and very hungry. 🍲 He asked his brother Jacob for a bowl of stew, but Jacob took advantage of the situation and tricked him into selling his birthright in exchange for it. 😮 Later on, when their father Isaac was old and about to give his final blessing, Rebekah and Jacob tricked Isaac into blessing Jacob instead of Esau. When Esau found out, he was very angry and planned to kill his brother. Jacob ran away and lived far from home for many years. Years passed, and Jacob felt the need to return home. He was afraid that his brother is still angry with him. When they finally met, Jacob bowed before his brother in humility.
